TECHNOLOGY AND BENEFITS

No plastic – no wood - no rubber seals

Why the structure of the collector should be important to you: because environmental influences such as wind, rain, dirt, UV radiation, snow loads and extreme variations in temperature are active on the collector over a period of decades.

Collector tray - the 'foundation'

  • The welded tight aluminium tank forms the “foundation”.
  • The high quality manufacturing process protects the inside of the collector for decades.

Absorber – the 'heart' of the collector

  • The highly selective solid surfaced absorber (blue-line) stands out for its level of solar absorption of approx. 95% and level of heat emission of approx. 5%.
  • The absorber unit which is fitted so it floats (ultrasound-welded blue-line absorber strip and copper heat-carrying pipe) guarantees the maximum energy usage.

The solar safety glass

  • 3,2 mm of solar safety glass with prismatic structure and low lead content
  • Maximum transparency to light. Impact and hailstone resistant.

Special seal – robot-produced

  • Special UV-protection seal with permanent elasticity.
  • Joins the tray, glass and beaded edge .
  • Anti-diffusion.
  • Prevents penetration of humidity and dirt.

Aluminium glass holding strip

  • Special anodised aluminium profile.
  • No rubber seals, with a UV-radiation and weather resistant aluminium profile that efficiently protects the glass edges.
Guarantees a long-lasting join between the tray and the glass.

Surface-sealing joints

  • 1/2” external thread with butt joint.
  • The surface joints located on the inside and outside of the tray are screwed down parallel to the casing with brass bolts, in such a way that they hermetically seal the tray.
  • No rubber or plastic seals that wear out in outdoor conditions.
  • Single connection of the collector pipes.

Rear wall insulation

  • 50 mm of mineral wool with low binding content.
  • As a result of the low proportion of binding agents that exist in the mineral wool insulation releases almost “zero gases”.

Ring-groove ventilation

  • The ring-groove ventilation is located on the collector’s distribution pipe.
  • Makes it easy to ventilate solar collectors connected in series.
